Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which sounds very like a people-smart Gemini.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge amount of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also recognized for its ability to create a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being too glamorous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly mirrored throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them stress even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a performance. Being a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities ahead of time? That exudes the identical vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re right.
