The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Traffic Collision

The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The celebrated video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.

"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
